Itinerary

Day 1: Queen Alia Airport  


Arrival at Amman Queen Alia International airport, where it is easily to arrange your visa, in case of individual arrivals  (the visa is at your own expense cost 40 JOD per person) and a free group visa in case of group up to 5 people, and we will walk with you through the customs. Your driver will wait for you in the arrival hall holding a name sign. he will transfer you to the 3* Al Fanar Palace Hotel or similar in Amman for overnight, including bed and breakfast.

 

Day 2: Amman - Jerash 


Relish your delicious breakfast in the hotel, then our English-speaking guide will be waiting for you in the lobby of your hotel. Start your first morning in Jordan with a city tour. Visit the Citadel in Amman, with beautiful views over the city. Continue to the Roman Theatre, located in the heart of Amman, for a visit. Drive on to Jerash to visit the world’s best preserved Roman provincial city. After you visit Jerash, transfer back to Amman for an overnight, at the 3* Al Fanar Palace Hotel or similar, including bed and breakfast.

 

Day 3: Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Karak


Today, there is a long day ahead of you as you will be travelling to the South to Petra. At 08.30 am, after breakfast, your tour today starts with visiting the St. George Church in Madaba with its famous mosaic map. Drive to Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Follow the King's Highway until Karak. In Karak, visit the immense Crusaders Castle. Time permitting, you will also visit Little Petra today, otherwise transfer directly to Petra for overnight at 3* Seven Wonders Hotel or similar, including bed and breakfast.
Optional activities for today: Petra by Night (each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening), Petra Kitchen cooking course, Local Turkish Bath.
 


Day 4: Petra


Full day to explore Petra, one of the seven world wonders. Entry by Siq and visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, Theater, Colonnaded Street etc. after lunch inside Petra you will still have time to visit the Monastery and/or the High Place of Sacrifice today. It is a lot of climbing, but worth the views!
Overnight 3* Seven Wonders Hotel or similar, including bed and breakfast.
Optional activities for today: Petra by Night (each Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening), Petra Kitchen cooking course, Local Turkish Bath, 1.5/2.5 hrs horse ride around the mountains of Petra

 

Day 5: Wadi Rum


Enjoy the savour of your breakfast in the hotel, and drive to Wadi Rum Visitors Centre. Before starting with the jeep tour, you could enjoy an hour camel ride from Wadi Rum Village to Lawrence’s Spring. After starting with a half-day jeep tour, including a freshly prepared barbecue lunch. A jeep tour is the best way to discover lots of sites in Wadi Rum. The jeep will stop at each site, giving you time to walk/scramble around and maybe even climb up on some of the beautiful, naturally formed bridges in Wadi Rum. Dinner and overnight at a campsite in Wadi Rum. 

 

Day 6:  Aqaba 


Once you wake up, enjoy the savor of your breakfast, you will drive to Aqaba for a free day and overnight. Relax at the beach, discover the town of Aqaba, or book a snorkeling cruise including lunch! Overnight at 3* Al Ra'ad Suites Hotel or similar in Aqaba, including bed and breakfast

 

Day 7: Dead Sea - Amman 


Check out of your hotel and drive via the Wadi Araba desert to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Enjoy day entry and lunch at the 4* Dead Sea spa Hotel. Float in the salty waters and try out the famous healing mud. Late afternoon transfer to Amman 3* Al Fanar Palace hotel or similar for overnight, including bed and breakfast

 

Day 8: Queen Alia Airport


Transfer to the airport for departure. You would need to leave the hotel 3 hours in advance (2 hours for the check in and less than 1 hour driving from Amman to Amman Queen Alia Airport).

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Amman     



Meet and Greet at Amman Queen Alia Airport. Here is an easy way to arrange your visa ( cost: 40 JPD / 57 USD). After will walk to your driver,  who is waiting for you in the arrival hall, holding a name sign. Transfer to Amman for overnight at 4*/5* hotel, including bed and breakfast.


 


Day 2: Amman city tour, Jerash | Optional Amman waves ( Summer time)



Today, your English-speaking guide waits for you to start the tour. First, together will make a city tour in Amman. Start at 08.30 am with a visit to the Citadel and the Roman Theater. For the afternoon, you are free to do what you like. You could choose to explore more of Amman with your driver, or go to the Children’s Museum located at King Hussein National Park. Drive to Jerash to tour one of the best preserved old Roman provincial cities. After your tour of Jerash, back to Amman, where you can decide to visit Amman Waves (Optional), A really fun place for kids! Just let your driver know what you would like today, he is ready to transfer you to the places you like to visit within Amman. Overnight in 4* /5* hotel in Amman


 


Day 3: Amman - Madaba - Nebo - Karak - Dana 



From Amman you drive towards Madaba, to visit the St George Church with its famous mosaic map. Continue to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Drive to Karak to visit the immense Crusaders Castle. Another great chance for the children to let their fantasy go mad!

For the afternoon, you will be transferred to Dana Nature Reserve with its amazing view. You could have some free time to spend with your family. Overnight at Dana Guest House, including dinner and breakfast


 


Day 4: Dana - Little Petra -Petra



Check out of your hotel in Dana. Drive on to Little Petra, a great preview for Petra visit, when you will visit Petra. Little Petra is a more quiet site and great for kids to explore the area. 

A full day to explore one of the seven wonders. After your visit to the Siq, Treasury, Street of Facades, Theatre, and Colonnaded Street, you still have time to see the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice. It is a lot of climbing, but worth the views! 

Free time after visiting Petra, you could choose to visit Petra by Night (available: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), Petra Kitchen, a 1,5 / 2.5 hrs ride around Petra mountains

Day 5: Petra- Wadi Rum



This morning you drive from Petra towards the famous Wadi Rum desert. Feel like T.E. Lawrence in the breathtaking scenery of the Rum. When you arrive you have the option to ride a camel for one hour to Lawrence Spring. After you ll make a half day jeep tour along the most famous sites in Wadi Rum including a fresh prepared lunch. During the jeep tour there is a chance of sand boarding on the sand dunes!

Overnight stay in the Authentic/luxurious Bedouin camp, including dinner and breakfast.


 


Day 6 & 7: Wadi Rum - Aqaba


 


After breakfast, drive to Aqaba. You will have two full days to relax at the beach, enjoy the hotel swimming pools, and entertainment for the children. Optional excursions, such as a snorkeling day trip, can be booked. Contact us for more information.

Day 8: Aqaba - Dead Sea

This hotel has a water play area for the kids where they can have much of fun. Float in the salty waters and try out the famous healing mud! Also for the adults there is enough to do at this hotel.

Day 9: Dead Sea - Amman Airport

Day 7: Luxor Nile Cruise Holiday


Breakfast on board the cruise, sailing from Edfu to Luxor, starts the guided tours to explore the hidden secrets of ancient Egypt.
Your guide will help you to decipher the tombs and temples' inscriptions, and start the tour on the Luxor West Bank of the Nile River
to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), proceed tour to the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of the pharaohs of New kingdom were discovered, the tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and colorful, and they were filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. But all these treasures were stolen, except the treasure of the child king Tut Ankh Amon, which is exhibited now in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Visit 3 tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Saint Catherine Monastery Excursion Trip From Sharm; Saint Catherine Monastery, located at the mouth of a gorge at the foot of Mount Sinai in Egypt, South Sinai Governorate. St. Catherine's monastery is Orthodox and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This monastery is one of the oldest working Christian monasteries in the world, together with the Monastery of Saint Anthony, situated across the Red Sea in the desert south of Cairo, which also lays claim to that title. In the area around the monastery, a small town has grown, with hotels and swimming pools, called Saint Katherine City. The monastery was built at the end of Emperor Justinian I between 527 AND 565, which encloses the Chapel of the Burning Bush, ordered to be built by Helena, mother of Constantine I, the site where Moses is supposed to have given the burning bush. It is also referred to as "Chapel of St. Helena." The site is sacred to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Commonly known as Saint Catherine, according to tradition, Catherine of Alexandria was a Christian martyr initially sentenced to death on the wheel. However, when this failed to kill her, she was beheaded. According to tradition, angels took her remains to Mount Sinai. Around the year 800, monks from the Sinai Monastery found her remains. Though it is commonly known as Saint Catherine’s, the full, official name of the monastery is the Sacred and Imperial Monastery of the God-Trodden Mount of Sinai, and the patronal feast day of the monastery is the Transfiguration. The relics of Saint Catherine of Alexandria were purported to have been miraculously transported there by angels and it became a favorite site of pilgrimage, You can choose one of 2 optional tours, the first tour is only half day tour to Saint Catherine monastery, start early morning and back to your hotel in Sharm at 2:00 PM, The other tour is to spend the ex night climbing Moses mountain, spend the night on the top of the mountain, Watch the sun rise, an early morning after the sun rise go own to visit the monastery of Saint Catherine, lunch meal will be inclue either in ahab or Newibah, back to Sharm.

 

Day 11: Aqaba , Wadi Rum - Petra


An early morning World Tour Advice representative will meet you at your hotel in Sharm el-Sheik, direct transfer by air-conditioned van to Taba, take the ferry boat from Taba to Aqaba port in Jordan, upon arrival in Jordan, another World Tour Advice representative will assist you through immigration, driving from Aqaba port to Petra. Day 12: Petra Tours


Breakfast at hotel in Petra and then you will be accompanied by a guide who speaks English to explore Petra Jordan  "The ancient Nabatean city carved into the Red Rock'' in a full day tour Crossing the Siq which is a long canyon leading directly to the treasury, you can walk or ride a horse or one of the buggies in the area, during Petra tour You will see the silica quarries, where Nabataeans may have mined silica for making water proof cement. Beyond this, on the right of the silica quarries, you will see large square-cut rocks that mark out the boundaries of the sacred area of Petra city. There are over 20 of these huge stone monuments around Petra, usually at entrances to the city. During the tour in Petra, you will find small tombs starting to appear. These were tombs of the middle class. Those with a sharp eye, however, will be able to spot an unfinished tomb, one of several in Petra. (right side of the road)
The first major monument that you come to will be on the left side of the road. This is the Obelisk tomb, named after the four Indian obelisks that decorate the top of the tomb. This tomb has two stories to it. Day 13: Petra - Dead Sea - Amman


Start your day with an early breakfast and drive to Madaba, which is located about 30km from Amman. Madaba is one of the most memorable places in the Holy Land.  During the tour in Madabayou will visit St. George Church home to the Madaba Archaeological Park where you will see the famous Byzantine mosaics representing the promised land, Proceed tour to Mount Nebo, an elevated ridge on which it is believed Moses viewed the Promised Land (please note that sometimes the church at Mount Nebo is closed but it is still possible to visit the site). So sure you will visit the site, but not inside the church. Mount Nbo is a holy place because it is believed that Moses is also buried somewhere on the mountain, according to Christian and some Islamic traditions, after the tour drive to Amman.
