Here is a day tour to visit Petra from Amman, Our tour Representative will meet you at your hotel in Amman, then transfer by A/C modern van to Petra, Petra is about three hours drive from Amman,on the modern desert Highway ( There is other way to drive to Petra from Amman. but it takes about 5 hours driving it is the king highway ), here in our day tour we will take the shorter way, upon your arrival to Petra you will find the famous entrance Siq infront of you, you will walk or ride a camel or horse to cross the Siq canyon ( about 1 Kilometer ). End of the Suq you will see the Treasury infront of you, a mysterious building, no one know why it was built, may be it was an ancient temple for the Nabatean tribes who established Petra to be their capital, they scaved most of it in the rock of the mountains surrounding it.your guide will show you the main attractions of Petra, the temples, the tombs, the theatre, the colonnaded streets, the baths, then drive back to your hotel in Amman.
